Youth Ministries - 7-12th Grades
God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but one that is powerful, loving, and self-controlled. 2 Timothy 1:7
Maple Grove provides a safe place for both Middle and High School students to make friends, have fun and grow in their faith, and experience God. Teens are challenged to express their struggles, their doubts, their faith and simply be themselves. As the Maple Grove Youth we intend to have fun and to love and help others by exploring our faith through being present and active in outreach in order to better ourselves and others. |

High School Mission Trip
Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. – Isaiah 6:8
Our annual summer week-long mission trip has long been an important part of our commitment to love God and serve our neighbors.
In summer of 2023, July 9-15, youth and adult leaders will travel to Red Bird Mission in Beverly, KY to be the hands and feet of Christ in service to the varied ministries and people of the Appalachian region. Red Bird Mission and Clinic have been providing ministries in this part of the Appalachian mountains since 1921.
This United Methodist Mission remains critical in this isolated, rural, distressed area. Chronic poverty, lack of jobs, poor housing, and rugged mountainous terrain provide obstacles to a fuller life for the residents of this area. This mission and clinic strives to meet these needs in five areas: Education, Health and Wellness, Community Outreach, Economic Opportunity, and Community Housing Improvement.
Part of the work we will be doing during this week will be home repair and building relationships with the community. THIS TRIP IS NOW FULL.
COST: $250 per person. The 2nd PAYMENT of $150 is DUE JUNE 1, 2023.
For more information, contact our Director of Tween and Youth Ministries or join our church email list.

Youth Service Work
Through service work we grow loving, caring, and compassionate people. Service helps us grow in our relationship with God and with each other. Our youth participate in service work through serving with the CRC, decorating Maple Grove for Advent, doing a prayer walk to our neighboring schools, and working with children in a variety of settings.
