 Youth Ministries - 7-12th Grades

God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but one that is powerful, loving, and self-controlled. 2 Timothy 1:7

Maple Grove provides a safe place for both Middle and High School students to make friends, have fun and grow in their faith, and experience God. Teens are challenged to express their struggles, their doubts, their faith and simply be themselves.

As the Maple Grove Youth we intend to have fun and to love and help others by exploring our faith through being present and active in outreach in order to better ourselves and others.

High School Mission Trip

Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. – Isaiah 6:8

Our annual summer week-long mission trip has long been an important part of our commitment to love God and serve our neighbors.
  • In July of  2023, we served Red Bird Mission in Beverly, KY to be the hands and feet of Christ in service to the varied ministries and people of the Appalachian region. Red Bird Mission and Clinic have been providing ministries in this part of the Appalachian mountains since 1921.
  • In July of 2024, we traveled to Savannah, Georgia to serve with various ministries around this historic coastal city.
  • In July of 2025, we plan to join Motown Mission in Detroit, Michigan to learn and serve our neighbor state to the north.

For more information, contact our Director of Tween and Youth Ministries or join our church email list.

Youth Service Work

Through service work we grow loving, caring, and compassionate people. Service helps us grow in our relationship with God and with each other. Our youth participate in service work through serving with the CRC, decorating Maple Grove for Advent, doing a prayer walk to our neighboring schools, and working with children in a variety of settings.
