What do people wear?
Members and visitors wear everything from suits to jeans and t-shirts! Come as you are comfortable. Business casual is most common at worship services.
How long is the worship service?
Worship services are usually between 60 and 90 minutes. Services are usually closer to an hour, but special services are longer.
Is the church accessible for people with disabilities?
We have designated handicap parking as well as parking reserved for others with limited mobility in our parking lot. An elevator is located near the parking lot door closer to High Street. There are accessible seating areas in the sanctuary.
Large print bulletins and hymnals are available at each service – ask an usher or greeter.
Hearing loop technology in the sanctuary will provide audio for anyone with a T-Coil hearing system in their hearing aid/cochlear implant. We also have two headsets that can be borrowed. Ask an usher for assistance.

Are children welcome in worship?
Yes! Children of all ages are welcome. We also have an area in the parlor where families can worship together if preferred and a nursery for infants up to 4 years old. Maple Grove Kids Activity Kits are available for children to use while joining their family in worship.
Is there childcare?
The nursery IS open now for children from birth to 4 years old. Childcare is also available for special events upon request.
How do you handle communion
The United Methodist Church practices open communion. All are welcome.
We use gluten-free bread and grape juice for communion.
Maple Grove uses individual cups and pre-cut bread for communion.
Communion servers are happy to come to worshippers who have difficulty leaving their seats during worship.

Can I bring my coffee with me?
Yes! Covered drinks are welcome in the sanctuary.
