Our Mission Statement
We are an open community of Christians who love God and serve our neighbors (Luke 10:27).
Our Welcoming Statement
Maple Grove United Methodist Church is called to the ministry of reconciliation. We embrace as a gift the diversity of the world. We celebrate and affirm our human family’s diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability, and education.
We believe discrimination is incompatible with Christ’s Gospel. We believe all people are worthy of God’s love and grace. We welcome the full inclusion of all people in the life and ministries of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. We recognize that there are differences among us but believe that we can love alike, even though we may not think alike. We know that the way we act toward others is the fullest expression of what we believe. We invite all people—from traditional Christians to questioning skeptics—to join us on a journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect.
