Stephen Ministers are laypeople trained to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered one-to-one care to people experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, relocation, Spiritual crises and many other circumstances. Stephen Ministers are available to provide both Maple Grove members and non-members.
Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life. Their commonality? A passion for bringing Christ’s non-judgmental love and compassionate care to people during a time of need.
Stephen Ministers are NOT … counselors or therapists, problem solvers, or a casual guest.
