Welcome to Maple Grove UMC
Our mission is to be an open community of Christians who love God and serve our neighbors (Luke 10:27). We truly do believe and try to live out the slogan of our denomination's national ad campaign Open Doors, Open Minds, Open Hearts. Our ministry teams reflect our understanding that every member is a minister. Maple Grove is strategically located on the southwest corner of the busy High and Henderson intersection in the Clintonville-Beechwold area of Columbus which provides us a wonderful window to the world. We would like to invite you to join us for any of our events, especially Sunday morning worship and Sunday School.

The Love Our Neighbor Luncheon and Lecture Series:
Because we believe we can love alike, even though we may not think alike.
This lecture series will explore the challenge of living in a diverse world and the opportunity to make a Christian choice to love our neighbor. Lunch is provided and will be a cultural journey!

Tyler will share with us the skills and practices of sustained dialogue: achieving consensus, active listening, ability to take different perspectives, appreciating diversity, understanding different experiences, and strategic planning. Tyler will help us learn how we can work out differences with our neighbors in a healthy, loving manner.
