Children’s Moments Leader: Share brief children’s message during worship.
Children’s Informal Play Time: Supervise craft and play time with children (age 5 through 12) in room 125 or on the playground from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM on Sundays.*
Children’s Worship Adult Leader: Help lead worship for children age 5 to 9.*
Communion Server: Serve communion to the congregation during worship on the first Sunday of the month and other special services.
Communion Steward: Prepare bread and juice for communion in worship; clean up after.
Library: Help care for church’s collection of books, videos, and other resources; assist with promotion and circulation.
Liturgist: Help lead worship by reading scripture and other portions of the service.
Prayer Chain: Lift up in prayer church members and others who are in need of God’s healing; share prayer requests by email or phone.
VBS Leader: Help lead children during summer Vacation Bible School. Opportunities available in crafts, music, drama, science, recreation, and food.*

Altar Holiday Flowers: Arrange flowers in sanctuary for Christmas and Easter.
God’s Gardeners: Care for church flowerbeds with cleanup, planting, weeding, and watering.
Hanging of the Greens: Decorate the church building and grounds for Advent; remove and store decorations after Christmas.
Kitchen Care: Meet quarterly to deep clean and organize church kitchens.
Nursery Helper: Assist staff nursery coordinator in providing loving care for infants and children aged 4 and younger on Sundays from 10 – 11 AM or 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.*
Pew Restocking: Tidy and restock envelopes and other items in pew pockets.
Usher: Care for worship attendees before, during and after services. Receive offering and assist with communion.

Adult Mission: Assist with disaster relief or local projects, often with UM Volunteers in Mission or Habitat for Humanity. No experience or special skills required.
Advent Fair: Organize and/or help lead the children’s craft Advent Fair.
Easter Breakfast: Help prepare, serve, or clean up at Easter breakfast in Fellowship Hall.
Easter Egg Hunt Planning: Plan and help lead Easter egg hunt for MG and community.
Funeral Meals: Prepare food, deliver to church, and/or help serve bereaved families at post-funeral gatherings.
God Parents: Supporting young families through serving quarterly church meals and caring relationships.
Hospitality Table: Prepare coffee and provide refreshments following Sunday worship; clear table and clean up after.
New Baby Meals: Prepare and deliver meals for families with newborns.
Office Volunteer: Fill in at church office during office administrator’s absence.
Greeters: Arrive 20 minutes early for worship and welcome people as they arrive.
Wedding Coordinator: Provide rehearsal and wedding day support for pastor and wedding party.

A/V Tech: Assist with sound board and media for worship and special events.
Blessing of the Animals: Help coordinate annual pet blessing service.
Chancel Choir: Sing with choir to provide musical leadership in worship. Open to teens and adults. Rehearse 7:30 PM Thursdays.
Creation Care: Provide education, projects and experiences, to connect with and care for God’s creation.
Giving Garden: Help plan and plant MG’s vegetable garden; harvest vegetables to benefit food pantries & those in need; put garden to bed in autumn.
Handbell Choir: Ring bells monthly in worship. Practice Thursdays at 6:30 PM. No prior experience required..
Maple Grove Players: Perform dramatic sketches and readings for worship services, special events, and community outreach.
NewSong: Sing contemporary Christian music in worship periodically with ensemble.
Office Mailings: Either at the church or at home, stuff envelopes for church mailings.
Worship Musician: Provide music to enrich worship experience. Instrumentalists, vocalists are welcome.

Christmas Ministries: Prepare Christmas food bags for Clintonville seniors
Community Meal: Prepare, serve, greet, clean up for monthly last Friday 6 PM dinner.
CRC Outreach Meal: Provide hot lunch at Clintonville Beechwold Community Resource Center the last Friday of each month.
English Conversation Practice: Provide a welcoming environment for learners to practice speaking English.
Keeping in Touch: Provide caring contact with MG members via calls or cards; update pastoral care staff as needed.
Pastor’s Pantry: After worship on the first Sunday of the month, pack brown-bag lunches to be distributed at CRC.
Reconciling Ministry: Advocate for full inclusion of all people, including LGBTQ, at MG and in society.
Thanksgiving Day Meal: Help plan, shop, set up, prepare, serve, greet or clean up.
Tween & Youth Volunteers: Working with staff, attend twice-a-month TMI or youth group, supporting young peoples’ spiritual growth through service, study and fellowship.*
