Blessing of the Animals

All creatures great and small will be welcome at Maple Grove’s Blessing of the Animals celebration on Sunday, May 31 at 3 p.m. in the Community Park. The service will include music, prayers, and readings from scripture, as well as the blessing of each animal that attends.

One hour prior to the service, Paw Print Pet Photography will offer pet portraits, Dr. Paul Knapp will be available to do microchipping of pets, and representatives from local rescue groups will also be on hand. All animals should be brought in carriers or on leashes. In case of rain or extreme heat, the service will be held in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us!
