Sunday SchoolSunday School classes for all ages meet September through May from 9:45 to 10:45am. Children / YouthCherubs is for children from age 1 through age 2. Children in this class experience God's love, through play, music and stories. Grace Kids is for children age 2 through 3. Led by our coordinator, Kim Workman, kids learn about God and Jesus by listening to Bible stories, doing crafts and playing games and follow the same curriculum as CROSS. This class meets next to the Cherubs Room. C.RO.S.S. (Children's Rotational Sunday School) is for children age 4 through grade 5. All the children gather together each week for an overview of the Bible story. The children are divided into groups according to the age/grade (preschoolers, grades 1 & 2, grades 3 &4). The age-level groups then rotate to different workshops over a 3-4 week period for a variety of creative learning experiences. Each 3-4 week session, will offer different workshops. Each child will enjoy all 3-4 workshops, offering different ways to experience the Bible story. "Plugged-In" Youth Class (6th through 12th) uses movie clips and scripture to deepen faith. The Word Among Us is a Bible study class for people on the go who want to take the Word with them. The Kitchen Class discusses everyday events in a Christian context over a cup of coffee. The Adult Bible Study Class strives to discover God's word and deepen their faith through Bible study and discussion. |
